Ceramitec 2026 confirms its position as a leading international trade fair dedicated to high-performance ceramics, with strong participation expected: more than 600 exhibitors are forecast, including over 90 new companies, along with around 15,000 visitors, also supported by the expansion of the exhibition space and its co-location with Analytica. Confindustria Ceramica will be present at Ceramitec with a 20 sqm association stand (Hall A6, stand 257), representing the products of Italian companies specialising in technical ceramics and refractory materials. Over three days, the trade fair will bring together the entire value chain of the sector, from raw material and plant manufacturers to companies producing technical and advanced ceramics, showcasing cutting-edge technologies and innovative production solutions, with a particular focus on digitalisation, sustainability and the circular economy. The event will explore key topics shaping the future of the industry, including energy efficiency and the use of alternative materials for the decarbonisation of production processes. The trade fair further strengthens its international profile through the presence of global delegations and introduces new thematic exhibitions, including Ceramic Components: Hidden Champions in Industry and Everyday Life and Heavy Clay Experience. The programme of events and conferences includes, alongside traditional technical presentations and specialist panels, talks featuring leading figures from industry and academia, the Career Day dedicated to younger generations, the Women’s Forum and the Bavarian Evening, fostering networking between exhibitors and visitors. Particular attention will be given to the conference on calcined clays as a material for reducing CO₂ emissions in the cement industry, highlighting the trade fair’s commitment to sustainability. The event reaffirms the strategic role of ceramics as a key material in modern industrial applications and technological innovation.
