Assembly The Assembly is made up of member companies that are in compliance with the statutory obligations and have paid their membership fees, represented by their legal representatives. The Assembly is convened at least once a year by the Association's General Council within the first half of the year to approve the final balance sheet and budget. The Assembly may also be convened during the year to examine issues of particular importance and must also be convened when requested in writing by companies representing at least 20% of the total votes and at least 1/10 of the members, within thirty days of such request. Chaired by the President, it sets the general guidelines and strategies of the Association. Every even-numbered year, it elects the President and Vice-Presidents, and every odd-numbered year, it elects the General Council. Among the powers conferred upon it, the Assembly has the power to amend the Association's Statutes.
