Labour and industrial relations

The Labour Area coordinates initiatives aimed at developing and continuously improving industrial relations. Within this framework, it signs the National Collective Labour Agreement for the sector with the relevant trade unions and supports member companies in negotiating company-level agreements.

The Area’s representatives also assist companies in the following areas:

• individual employment relationships;
• social safety nets and collective redundancies;
• corporate restructuring and extraordinary operations;
• international mobility of workers;
• agency relationships;
• welfare;
• subcontracting agreements;
• Unimpiego Confindustria database;
• supplementary pension schemes and healthcare.

The Association also supports member companies through

• comprehensive assistance on industrial relations, social security and employment law,
• in both collective and individual negotiations,
• and provides advice on labour-related issues, human resources management and regulations concerning executives in industrial companies.

This commitment extends to all aspects of employment, including support and assistance to member companies in managing the adaptation of organisational and production structures to the demands of the new economy and internationalisation.
