Tableware 08 July 2025 The Italian porcelain and tableware ceramics industry consists of eight companies, employing approximately 650 people. In 2024, they produced over 9,600 tonnes and sold a total of 9,500 tonnes of finished products. In detail, domestic sales account for 75% of total sales, while the remaining 25% is destined for markets beyond the border. The turnover corresponding to sales of ceramic tableware produced by industrial manufacturers in the strict sense reached almost €58 million in 2024. Turnover in Italy in 2024 stood at €36.3 million, representing approximately 65% of total turnover, compared with exports worth over €20 million, representing approximately 35% of turnover.
