President 18 June 2024 In June 2024, the Confindustria Ceramica assembly elected Augusto Ciarrocchi as president of the Association for the two-year period 2024–2025 with 99% of the votes (3 blank ballots). Vittorio Borelli, Luigi Di Carlantonio, Giorgio Romani, Alberto Selmi and Graziano Verdi were also elected as vice-presidents. Augusto Ciarrocchi was born in Civita Castellana in 1960. He practised law for four years after graduating in law from the University of Perugia. In 1986, he joined the Board of Directors of Ceramica Flaminia, where in 1990 he became head of the legal and administrative department. In April 1999, he became managing director and, in September of the same year, chairman of the Board of Directors and general manager. Since 1994, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Centro Ceramica in Civita Castellana (Viterbo), where he served as chairman for 11 years until 2019, and was a director of the Tuscia Energia Provincial Consortium from 2000 to 2004. He was chairman of the Ceramics Section of Unindustria Roma, Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo (2012–2020) and a member of Confindustria's Technical Committee for the Protection of Made in Italy and the Fight against Counterfeiting (2012–2019). Since 2018, he has been vice-chairman of Confindustria Ceramica. Ceramica Flaminia was founded in 1955 in Civita Castellana and manufactures ceramic sanitary ware exclusively in Italy. The company applies Industry 4.0 technical standards within a production cycle characterised by eco-sustainability and the circular economy. Collaborating with leading international designers, the company works on innovation in the bathroom environment. Technical and formal research make the Flaminia brand one of the world's leading examples of Italian know-how. The company currently exports successfully to more than 70 countries with a total turnover of around €24 million and employs 126 specialised staff.
