Below is a list of the organisations and entities with which Confindustria Ceramica participates or maintains relations.

1. Confindustria Ceramica is primarily affiliated with the National Confindustria System and maintains relations with the regional associations of Emilia Romagna and Lazio.

2. Confindustria Ceramica coordinates relations with the bodies that define the technical standards governing ceramic production and with the organisations that certify its quality. It also promotes contacts with universities throughout Italy, as well as with research centres, to ensure the constant innovation of ceramic products and production processes. Training and specialisation activities for young people and new recruits also continue through courses run by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, the Ceramic Centre (Centro Ceramico) and Nuova Cerform.

3. Workplace safety and trade union and social security protection for workers in the sector are equally important elements for the entire production system. With this in mind, the Association works to guarantee workers in all sectors of the Italian tile industry a supplementary pension to public and private contributions through Foncer. Confindustria Ceramica is also a member of Unimpiego and has relations with CAF Industria Emilia Romagna.

4. In the cultural sphere, the Association is a member of the International Museum of Ceramics in Faenza (MIC), a member of the Italian Design Association (ADI) and a member of the National Ceramics Council established by the Ministry of Enterprise and Made in Italy.

5. The Association supports companies in sourcing energy resources through Gas Intensive, a consortium set up with the aim of providing companies with significant competitive advantages, of which Confindustria Ceramica is one of the promoting associations.

6. An important factor in consolidating the Italian ceramic industry's recognised leadership position worldwide is the intense promotional activity carried out by Confindustria Ceramica. This activity includes organising Cersaie, the leading trade fair for the ceramic sector held every year in Bologna, and participating in Coverings, the most important event for the sector in the Americas. Italian ceramic tile manufacturers are represented at international events and initiatives by the Ceramics of Italy brand, the promotional image of the Italian ceramic industry and a symbol of the quality and cutting-edge nature of Italian-made ceramic products.

7. Confindustria Ceramica is part of the Cerame-Unie confederation, which represents the interests of the European ceramic sector. Cerame-Unie is a confederation of several European federations, each representing a single segment of the ceramic sector. These federations are made up of various national trade associations, such as Confindustria Ceramica itself, and/or direct members. The European federations of which the Association is a member are: CET (ceramic tiles), TBE (bricks), FEPF (tableware), FECS (sanitaryware), PRE (refractories), and EuTeCer (technical ceramics).

8. The Association participates in technical standardisation committees in numerous groups at national (UNI), European (CEN) and international (ISO) level.

9. In the field of research, the Association is a partner of Centro Ceramico, a research and experimentation centre for the ceramics industry, managed by a university consortium. It is also a member of GBC Italia in the field of sustainable construction and a member of ICMQ (Certifications and controls for construction).
